MOHF Dental Hygiene Scholarship
The Montana Oral Health Foundation (MOHF), the charitable foundation of the Montana Dental Association, promotes the practice of dental hygiene in Montana by annually awarding scholarships to dental hygiene students who demonstrate a commitment to practicing dental hygiene in Montana following graduation. In selecting a recipient the MOHF Board will consider academic performance, financial need, intent to practice in Montana, and any special circumstances. Scholarships for students attending MSU Great Falls will be administered by the MSU-GF administration and application should be made through the school.
An applicant must:
(1) Be a second year student in good academic standing in a CODA approved Dental Hygiene Program;
(2) Demonstrate plans to practice dental hygiene within the state of Montana;
(3) Complete the application and submit the required supporting documents.
Scholarship Application: To be considered for a scholarship, the applicant must complete the application and provide all required attachments.
Personal Statement: An applicant must attach a short essay describing the student's background and interest in dental hygiene practice, future work plans, and any special circumstances.
Letters of Recommendation: An applicant must submit two letters of recommendation, including one from a health care professional who is not a member of the applicants’ Dental Hygiene Program faculty or staff.
